Better to look for a good used one, I bought a 86, first year of issue for $600.00 US . It already had a bunch of acc. with it. It only cost a wee bit to get it on the road and it is just as good as any new bike. Anything that breaks you just fix , it's so easy to work on anyone can fix them even me.It only had 12'000 miles and I plan to keep it for ever , I want to get an newer one to make a chopper out of, and if they stop making them I will buy a last year of issue, and make the two bikes into show bikes First and last year of production.
